Pinkness Wool Drawings

Pinkness wool drawings take cues from observable objects (often succulent plants, fruits, and seed pods) and change their hues to a vibrant pink. The altered color, organic forms, and growth patterns suggest the feminine in all its uncanny glory: both familiar and strangely alien at the same time. I create these drawings by punching dyed and naturally colored fiber through thick white paper using a felting needle; half of the wool protrudes through the back side of the thick paper. Some of these works are available through my online store.
