Indiegogo perks for InTouch

Below you’ll find descriptions and images of the tangible items offered as a humble ‘thank you’ for pledges of support. Please note the campaign ends on June 14th, but pledges early in the campaign will really help me build momentum. Take a look, then you can head back to the InTouch Indiegogo page. Butterfly Postcard Art Print ($20 pledge)

This luscious 5x7-inch postcard depicts a specimen from my ‘Butterfly’ series of colorful wool drawings, which I create by pushing wool fibers through paper using a felting needle. You can see every fiber thanks to high resolution scanning. I then had the image printed on triple-layered Trifecta cardstock with a black core layer- and it is far more rigid than a typical postcard. The surface is velvety smooth, and the piece overall can be used to send a message— or framed.

Set of 4 Beetle Wool Drawing Cards ($50 Pledge)

This set of four 5x7-inch cards and envelopes were created from high-resolution scans of wool drawings from my ‘Beetle’ series. Each of the four images depicts a species of beetle, faithfully reproducing the details of each fiber I used to ‘draw’ the image by poking black wool through paper. Provided with four envelopes, these pieces can nevertheless be framed and presented as art pieces.

Set of 4 Butterfly Wool Drawing Cards ($50 pledge)

This set of four 5x7-inch cards and envelopes were created from high-resolution scans of wool drawings from my ‘Butterfly’ series. Each of the four colorful images depicts a different species of butterfly, faithfully reproducing the details of each fiber I used to ‘draw’ the image by poking wool through paper. Provided with four envelopes, these pieces can nevertheless be framed and presented as art pieces. Included images are: Monarch, Blue Morpho, Chocolate Albatross (yes, that’s its true common name) and Swallowtail.

This set of four 5x7-inch cards and envelopes were created from high-resolution scans of wool drawings from my ‘Rabbit’ series. Each of the four colorful images depicts a different kind of rabbit, faithfully reproducing the details of each fiber I used to ‘draw’ the image by poking wool through paper. Provided with four envelopes, these pieces can nevertheless be framed and presented as art pieces. Included images are: Jackrabbit, Domestic Dutch, Domestic Blonde, and Grey Rex.

Cat in Sun Wool Drawing Archival Print ($75 pledge)

This 9x12-inch print faithfully reproduces my portrait of a cat sitting in the sunshine, which I created by pushing wool fibers through paper using a felting needle. Printed on archival paper, you can see every black fiber thanks to high resolution scanning. I create values of black, white, and grey by varying the amount and coverage of black fiber anchored through the white paper.

Lab Stroll Wool Drawing Archval Print ($75 pledge)

This 9x12-inch print faithfully reproduces my portrait of a Labrador Retriever strolling in the sun, which I created by pushing wool fibers through paper using a felting needle. Printed on archival paper, you can see every black fiber thanks to high resolution scanning. I create values of black, white, and grey by varying the amount and coverage of black fiber anchored through the white paper.

In Retrospect Catalog, signed ($100 pledge)

This 8x10-inch catalog features over 100 pages of luscious full-color photos documenting my sculptural work in wool felt from my earliest pieces through 2017, leading up to the InTouch project. Catalogs were printed and bound locally, in Santa Clara California. Your copy will be signed.

Future InTouch Catalog ($200 pledge)

I will be creating a catalog documenting the process and finished work from the InTouch project, and your name can be included in the printed thanks section. Like my existing ‘In Retrospect’ catalog, this book will be full color, over 100 pages, and printed in Santa Clara, California. Expect behind-the-scenes process photos, sketches, plans, and documentation of the exhibition and its guest/participants.
